I got a chance to talk to Kate last night, and the children were immediately removed from the home Friday night. They were taken to the hospital to be examined, then they were taken to the local children's home for the weekend. I don't know if that's where they'll stay, but it's a great place that is setup in a family setting with 2 adults and no more than 10 children in each individual house, and they were able to place all 4 girls in the same home. Those little girls are safe now, and that's all that matters. I hate seeing children end up in the system, but I fully believe these little girls are better off now.

Me to, I really don't know the kids or your friend and I had dreams about those kids. It was really weird, never had something like that with kids i never met.

I remembered that someone I used to be friends with years ago is now a cop in the town the woman lives in. I tracked him down yesterday, and he made plans to meet Kate last night after his shift started to go to the woman's house! I've been tossing and turning all night waiting to hear from her hoping the woman and kids were home when they showed up. If not the cop is going to have someone on day shift ride by there today. I'm going to call Kate first thing this morning to see what happened. I hope they were able to get those kids out of there!

Have them call the cops, they will do something about it. That woman needs to be put in jail for what she is doing to her children. I would love to be able to adopt them, seeing how I cant have children, as it seems.

If the cops do nothing take them all to the hospital they all need to be checked out.

That is so wrong. I wonder if they aint taking them because they don't have a place to actually place all the girls together. Hell I would take them all, I may only have one room for them all to sleep in, but they would have there own beds. And being taken care of and actually going to school.

My advice would be to call the cops and the animal protective service (saying the animal are not being taken care of). The animal people will see it such a mess and then call the cops and then child services would have to come out and place those children in foster care.

Also I would take all of them to the hospital because they all need to be looked at.

definitely call the cops and if they won't do anything she can pile the kids - all of them into her car and take them all to the ER. Something has got to be done! This is insane. Those poor girls!

The only two other things I could see doing would be to 1) Call the police, and/or 2) Bring in a friend to watch the other children while she takes the older one to the emergency room (I'd say risk the fines and take them all, but with 4 kids she'd still need someone to help her watch them all at the hospital). Make all her findings known at the emergency room-- they have to report it.

I know for a fact the woman doesn't have any neighbors. She lives in a double wide in the middle of a wooded area. I'm so pissed off right now I want to track the woman down and knock some sense into her. When I spoke to Kate this morning I told her going to the police should be her next option. Something HAS to be done about these little girls. The police CAN'T say they can't do anything because it's obvious the two older girls are NOT being home schooled. The mother couldn't even show Kate the material she was using for home schooling.

I called child services again, but I was told they couldn't file a complaint based on what I was telling them because it was "word of mouth". I had to actually see it in action. Child services in our area is a seriously fuct up service. Everyone of them needs to be fired and replaced with competent people who actually care about the children they're supposed to be protecting.

This is really messed up OMG....I would call the local news channel or better yet call the police and have them come into the house this is totally insane...OMG how very sad is this? Those poor little girls..this truly breaks my heart to read this. It makes you want to go to where ever they are and grabbed up those girls to rescue you them and take them to a good home! Awe what is wrong with Child Services. What about neighbors nobody complains? Nothing OMG so unreal
