Interesting comment about homeschooling. I have read so many horror stories of what is going on in the public schools...I am definitely giving it a thought for the future.

Jenn,
When I was pregnant with Ben, Charlie worked for a Heating and AC company and had insurance. The week before Ben was born, the company closed and we learned we couldn't keep the insurance up (COBRA) because the owner hadn't been making payments. A day or two after we came home from the hospital, newborn Ben became ill and had to be hospitalized. The folks at the hospital helped us get public assistance while Charlie hunted for a new job. That was a rough year, but all was well. As you know, Ben grew up fine and the Shustermans are still living happily ever after. So kiddo, try not to worry to much. Have faith, trust, believe that everything is going to be ok.

LOL, I've always been of the mindset that Momma's the one pregnant and giving birth, Momma gets to name the baby. Then again, all of my friends who have kids didn't have to worry about it. The daddies let them pick the names. :/

But Aiden is a popular name for boys now and I've even seen a few girls named Aiden as well. It's a pain to be named something popular, but it can also be a pain to be named something not so popular. :/

Charter does offer HD packages in most areas, so there's a possibility that either you're in one of the few areas that isn't receiving HD packages yet or you just haven't opted to purchase one of the HD packages which you do have to subscribe to separately.

OMG charter is the worst i only have 2 services i signed for all 3 but after missing 4 days of work waiting for telephone tech to even show up which did not happen at all he called his boss said no one was home i was on phone with rep in MY HOUSE on my cell phone saying thats funny he was no where near my home even ..................rep told me sorry had to reschuedule when i asked to speak with this techs boss they gave me bullshit story we are'nt allowed to do that...............i canceled phone i have vonage now works even better and as for the movie channels we have or on demand half the time you can crank your t.v all the way up and still not hear i have called and they blame it on the networks.............well tell them to give us sound how hard is that................if there where another fast internet around i sure would not be with charter but i am stuck for now...........i looked at the reward stuff and said why even bother just another thing to have to be on phone constatly with them about.......such a sad company i wish someone would get another cable provider and give us options

You are completely right about that. Half the time the techs don't even care enough to show up, and you wouldn't believe how many times I've had to tell the techs how to fix the problem because they are too incompetent to do it. The ONLY reason we use Charter at all is because we have no other option unless we want dial up or satellite. From my own experiences as well as discussions with others who have used satellite, you might as well stick with dial up (which is not an option with a home business like mine).

We've dropped our services from the largest package they have to just the basics and raised them back up again only because it's so much more expensive to carry just the basic services. You end up paying less for more services but deal with more hassle because of the fact no one cares. We now know exactly why Charter is bankrupt.

I do login almost daily, but the point is most of us don't receive any of the emails that are supposed to tell us when the days start so when we do login, even if it is daily, everything is gone. Plus most of the redemption items suck anyway, and why am I going to spend 15,000 points on a dvd I could pick up for $10...a dvd I don't even want.

Charter Sucks because no one cares. Not the techs, not the sales staff and not the corp big wigs. Charter's thinks that if you have 3 of their service instead of one or two that you are less likely to cancel any services. Wrong, you now have more problems and more reason to curse the Charter name.

If you login and check once in a while, you would see that they are having Redemption Days every 3 weeks or so. I have picked up several posters, some baby trees for planting, some Mother's Day gifts, and another day is coming up shortly, but I won't hint as to which date, because that would be too easy for you, and I want all the goodies for myself.

I didn't get around to it yesterday, so I hope I can get it done today. I'm crossing my fingers because our entire bathroom looks disgusting. This house sat empty for 11 years, mainly used as storage, but the water was still on, so there's 11 years of buildup on everything. The toilet bowl is stained so badly the whole bottom of it is brown, and nothing I've cleaned it with has worked.

If this stuff works in the shower I might drain the toilet bowl and give it a good scrub. It's worth a shot, and if it doesn't do the job I'll finally break down and buy a new toilet.
